Data Lake API Change

Infor has started the transition from the Compass Data Lake API to the new Data Fabric API. With the current interface being deprecated at the end of 2022, we’ve started considering the changes that will be made for all programs accessing the Data Lake.

I have yet to see an update from Infor on if the Infor ETL Tool will be updated to use the new Data Fabric API and will be posting to the Infor forums soon asking for details.

Currently Noctilucent and Data Lake Export are using the Compass API, but we have started reviewing the new endpoint and preparing to update the application to support the new functionality. It’s always a task to keep up to date with the changing APIs and interfaces for M3 and its related technologies.
