Noctilucent Desktop
Import, export, and explore Infor M3 data — without waiting on support.
Noctilucent Desktop is designed for both Functional and Technical resources. Its ease of use allows Functional resources to import and export data with no requirement to contact support to perform these tasks. Technical resources can use Noctilucent to generate cURL scripts for data processing, C# code for calling MIs from custom applications, and limited Java code generation assistance.
Anyone with a working knowledge of SQL and the M3 database can write read-only queries using the provided query tools. The Data Lake query tool allows SQL-like access for Multi-Tenant customers. The results can be viewed on screen or exported to an Excel workbook in a single click. An open-source companion tool, also developed by Noctilucent Systems, allows the scripting of queries created in this tool.
Prerequisites
- Windows 64-bit operating system (Windows 10 or 11 recommended)
- .NET Framework 4.8
- 4 GB of RAM minimum
- A valid IONAPI credentials file
Some features require a valid M3 account.
License
We provide a 30-day trial when downloading Noctilucent Desktop. If you need the trial extended, contact us to discuss. Noctilucent Desktop is licensed per Named User. Each user can install it on multiple computers, but the license prevents it from being launched on more than two computers at the same time.
Support and Updates
One year of updates is provided from the license date. Email support is provided, and escalation is available for mission-critical issues.
What information do we collect?
Full disclosure: Noctilucent Desktop sends telemetry related to the installation for license verification. If an exception occurs that causes an error in Noctilucent, the related exception information is sent to a developer for review. There is a user option to send a log of the current session’s actions. This does not include M3-related information.
